You will be aligned to the Protein North America Division of JBT Corporation. This team specializes in food processing equipment used for meat portioning. You will report to the DSI Application Manager. On a given day, you may: Gather and prioritizing customer requirements Perform a situation assessment Locate necessary information and resources, exploring options, identifying a solution, manipulating the portioning system software to meet the customer needs Measure results and communicating results. The applications engineer coordinates your customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs. Requirements for the role BS degree in Engineering or Meat Science. 1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles. The ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications. Travel & Location We ask that you travel up to 90%. This position is remote #LI-Remote Must live or be willing to move to the following states: Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama The estimated annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 annually.
