Job Summary:
The Director, Media plays a key role in the development and execution of strategic media plans, overseeing significant portions of paid media activity for division, following the strategic direction set by the AVP, Media. This role requires a highly analytical and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the media landscape and a proven ability to execute media strategies with autonomy, while aligning with the overarching vision and strategy set by the AVP. This individual will be responsible for managing agency relationships, leveraging data and insights for efficient targeting, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve brand objectives.
What You Will Learn:
Media Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of assigned portions of paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overarching media strategy defined by the AVP. Manage the tactical execution of quarterly media plans, following the channel mix recommendations established by the AVP.
Agency Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with the media agency (and/or HOK team), ensuring effective communication, performance accountability, and timely execution of campaigns, while adhering to the overall agency management strategy led by the AVP.
Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage data and insights to optimize assigned media campaigns, working closely with the analytics team to analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement, following the data-driven strategies set by the AVP. Collaborate with e-commerce teams on reporting during key promotional periods.
Strategic Partnerships (Support): Support the AVP in maintaining and expanding strategic partnerships with publishers and other media partners, contributing to the identification and evaluation of new media opportunities.
Media Asset Management: Manage the sourcing and delivery of final media assets for assigned campaigns to the Media Agency/HOK team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
Learning Agenda Execution: Execute assigned components of the brand's learning agenda, contributing to the ongoing testing and optimization of media strategies, as defined by the AVP.
Competitive Analysis & Reporting (Support): Support the AVP in conducting regular competitive reporting, gathering and analyzing market intelligence to inform media strategies.
Measurement & Attribution (Support): Contribute to the execution of the annual MMM research project/BETIQ, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, as directed by the AVP.
Budget Management: Manage assigned portions of the media budget, working closely with agency and internal teams to ensure efficient allocation of resources and adherence to budget guidelines, within the overall budget framework established by the AVP. Collaborate with finance and brand controllers to manage assigned portions of Pure Media spends .
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to ensure alignment on media initiatives and collaborate effectively with other relevant teams.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Advertising, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a demonstrated ability to execute media strategies effectively.
Strong understanding of the media landscape across all channels.
Solid analytical skills and experience with media planning and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage projects and work effectively within a team.
Experience managing media budgets and resources.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:
Salary Range [New York] : $138,500 -$200,800 base salary (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
