We are seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified Electrical Instrumentation Technician's wanting to join our Electrical Process Maintenance team.

You will be required to monitor and maintain equipment in this large crushing and processing plant ensuring we continue to safely meet and exceed our throughput targets.

You will carry out servicing and electrical maintenance for all electrical equipment within the Process Maintenance Department’s area of responsibility. You will ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and effectively and will be responsible for maximising the use of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled works. Your previous experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in a mining or large industrial processing environment will be highly regarded.

Qualifications and Competencies

Required:

  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in large industrial processing environments.

  • Proactive, collaborative approach, and ability to problem solve.

  • Positive attitude towards safety and genuine interest in working with a values based organisation

  • Enthusiasm and willingness for continual learning and keeping up to date with industry requirements and technical advancements

  • A current WA Electrical Workers Licence

  • A High Voltage Switching certificate with High Voltage experience

  • An understanding of AS3000, Mines Regulations and Acts as well as other relevant standards, acts and regulations

  • C class manual drivers licence

    Highly regarded:

  • A Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation

  • Understanding of Defect Elimination principles and its application

  • Understanding of Maintenance Work Management Processes complete with use of CMMS (i.e. SAP or similar)

  • A High Risk Licence for forklift and EWP.

  • Unit of competency in confined space and working at heights.
