We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead our Contract Completion & Collections receivables product delivery. This role demands a strong understanding of Ford Credit business processes and a comfort working in "white space" to define and shape this innovative receivables and servicing product. You will play a critical role in advocating and executing the product vision, strategic direction, and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with Ford Credit's broader transformation goals.
What you'll do...
Deliver the overall vision and product strategy
Must remove uncertainty, making it clear what capabilities should be developed within the new originations & servicing lending platform or be developed within the Ford Credit integration layer
Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and schedule, as well as provide support after execution
Collect and incorporate stakeholder input from technical teams, privacy, legal, risk, compliance, finance, accounting, etc. to have the proper capabilities and priority on the roadmap
Develop and prioritize contract completion & collection business requirements across enterprise software platforms and applications
Understand customer needs to develop detailed current and future state product requirements that identify market opportunities
Prioritize the development and launch of new Receivable Servicing capabilities and products on a regular basis while identifying measures of success
Develops product backlog of epics, features and user stories.
Translate requirements into robust features and user stories to enable configurations within the new vended platform and development within Ford Credit integration layer.
Ensure contract completion & collection rules and impacted areas are captured sufficiently for configurators to build the new system.
Ensure GIS standards, retention requirements and other compliance rules are captured for each receivable area.
Ensures PwC, internal, state, and federal audits requirements are sufficiently captured.
Write compelling Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to ensure effective communication, alignment, and execution, ultimately leading to a more modern and efficient receivables platform.
You'll have...
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
6+ years project management experience
3+ years’ experience with asset-based receivables and/or origination systems
1+ years working experience in JIRA/Rally
Experience with project management tools like Atlassian Confluence / JIRA
Financial services regulatory knowledge
Knowledgeable in business domains of Collections, Asset Return, Auction, Vehicle Repossessions, Payoff, Charge-off and Loss Recovery
Ability to plan risk management approaches
Ability to effectively work across all levels of the organization to achieve organizational objectives. Including ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to think strategically with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver successful solutions
Ability to influence, persuade and be comfortable having difficult conversations
Experience in all phases of the development life cycle and agile practices
Effective and inclusive when working in teams with diverse backgrounds to execute on a shared vision

Experience with GCP is a plus.
Experience in coaching and mentoring Product Analysts
Experience with Financial institution processes and procedures
SAFe Agilist certification
Experience in developing and delivering product roadmaps for complex software platforms.
Proven track record of successfully defining, developing, and launching new product platforms.
5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of receivables or account servicing processes, ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
Knowledge of multiple functional areas, including product ownership, User Experience (UX)/User Insights (UI), sales, customer service, finance, or marketing.
Understanding of go-to-market commerce enablers (e.g., payments, loyalty, subscriptions, etc.).
Work in an agile product team to deliver code frequently using Test Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness on the GCP infrastructure.
Continuously enhance your FMCC domain knowledge, stay current on the latest data engineering practices, and contribute to the company's technical direction while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
