PamTen, Inc. Cloud Security Architect in United States
Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud environments for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security strategies, leveraging your practical expertise in cloud security best practices and technologies. Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures, ensuring adherence to industry standards (NIST 800-53) and overall best practices for government entitites.
Conduct or support security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies for new requests and initiatives.
Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to integrate security controls throughout the transformation program lifecycle.
Stay up-to-date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in cloud security, and recommend appropriate measures to address them.
Participate in the Architectural Review Board and surrounding processes to represent the security program
Requirements:
Architect level Certification in Azure or AWS
-Hands on experience with a Cloud Security Posture Management platform (Wiz, Orca, Prisma)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or OCI
In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, standards, and regulations (e.g., CSA, NIST (800-53), GDPR, HIPAA).
Strong understanding of networking, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and other security technologies relevant to cloud environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and clients.
