We are an expanding team of project managers responsible for managing customer Automation requests from prequalification submission to implementation of Raymond Automated Trucks and Operator Assist Technologies. Each project is a collaborative effort between our team, Nationwide Solution & Support Centers, multiple internal Raymond business sectors, and most importantly our customers.

About the position:

We’re looking for a fully remote Project Manager who will manage customer Automation requests from prequalification submission to implementation of Raymond Automated Trucks and Operator Assist Technologies. Each project is a collaborative effort between the Project Specialist, Nationwide Sales & Service Centers, multiple internal Raymond personnel, and most importantly our customers. You will:

  • Manage external customer-facing projects in the deployment of automation and operator assist technologies.
  • Work closely with multiple engineering teams & possess some technical aptitude.
  • Responsible for creation and execution of customer schedules & specific project documentation.
  • Conduct customer kick-off and status meetings to provide visibility to project objectives, process, timelines, and issues.
  • Exchange information and resolve issues with internal and external senior and executive level staff.
  • Work in a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
  • Analyze current processes and seek improvement in delivering solutions to customers.
  • Ensure projects are completed in a cost effective, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

About remote work:

Fully remote candidates will be considered based on experience and skill set. Fully remote candidates may be required to travel to Greene, NY for onboarding and/or periodically throughout the year based on business need. To be considered for a fully remote position you MUST reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington or Wisconsin.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience is required
  • Ability to plan & organize technical automation project activities.
  • Possesses strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to keep their composure in challenging circumstances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Smartsheet experience is preferred.
  • Possess leadership skills.
  • Work well in a team or individual environment.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Ability to present project materials to a technically diverse audience as well as a non-technically diverse audience.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10% as needed.

It would be great if you had:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Experience in the Material Handling Systems industry.
  • Familiarity with automated equipment and ANSI standards.
  • Understanding of wireless networking and networking infrastructure.
  • Additional knowledge of Raymond Material Handling equipment.

About the total compensation package:

Salary: $58,000 - $84,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
