Purpose and Scope:

As a Platform Engineer of a team of individuals in a specific area of digital expertise, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution are about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focus on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.

As an Automation Engineer in Automation/RPA CoE Team, you will be a crucial player in driving the automation and optimization of business process in various divisions across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the development, maintenance, and operation of RPA bots using Automation Anywhere A360. Your primary focus will be to either be involved in the new RPA use case where you support the new development of an Automation process or be more focused on the operation activities where you would ensure the smooth functioning of existing bots that are currently deployed across various business divisions. The role also involves sufficient knowledge about the specific platforms that drive our business functions such as Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault. The goal is to eliminate repetitive manual tasks, enhance efficiency, and drive growth. You will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the RPA COE team to develop, maintain, and enhance RPA bots using Automation Anywhere A360.

• Deploy RPA components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories, and logging tools.

• Write and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation, process automation, and integration tasks.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for bot-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

• Monitor and analyze bot performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.

• Collaborate with business divisions to understand their automation needs and provide effective solutions using RPA technology.

• Provide guidance with process design and optimize workflow automation projects.

• Assist in the testing and deployment of new bots, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.

• Stay updated with the latest RPA trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the RPA COE team's capabilities.

• Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the team, ensuring proper documentation of bot development, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.

• To work with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM and Salesforce platform and identify opportunities for process improvement with automation.

• Initiative Execution: Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value. Contribute to the ongoing realization of Value from these enterprise platforms through continuous integration and deployment.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.

• Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise.

• Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.

• Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.

Qualifications :

Required

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere

• Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with libraries suitable for automation tasks.

• Experience in integrating the automation with ServiceNow catalog and API.

• Familiarity with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault functionality, Salesforce platform and other related applications.

• Ability to understand the business process and analytic skill to evaluate process and enhance the process to be automated.

• Knowledge of API development and integration.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Possess a strong understanding of Life Sciences/ Pharma industry across Commercial, Manufacturing and Medical domains.

Preferred

• Veeva CRM Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Administrator

• Veeva Vault Platform Certified Administrator

• Experience in integration software such as MuleSoft

• Other complex and highly regulated industry experience will be considered across diverse areas like Finance and Medical.

• Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to lead ad hoc analyses, identify performance gaps, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Agile Champion: Adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
