AAA Mid Atlantic Advisor, Talent Acquisition in United States

AAA is hiring for a Talent Advisor to join our Talent Acquisition team! This role partners with assigned business units to support objectives by acting as a consultant and resource to management on recruitment, onboarding, retention, and other related Human Resource efforts. Focus is on talent acquisition and development, organizational effectiveness and operational excellence. This role works with associates and managers to analyze and address the root of recruitment issues.

What You'll Do:

  • Partners with hiring managers to analyze and develop recruitment plans for current and anticipated vacancies. Develops strategies for filling posted positions, coordinate implementation, and facilitate recruiting meetings.

  • Recommends and facilitates interview model, develops competency based behavioral interview questions, and coordinates job specific assessment testing.

  • Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using various resources such as: computer databases, networking, internet recruiting sources, media, social media, and referrals. Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  • Represents the company at job fairs, trades shows or other venues.

  • Reviews applications and prescreens job candidates in order to evaluate work history, training, education and job skills to determine eligibility for consideration. Participates in interviews as needed.

  • Analyzes background and testing results; coaches hiring managers regarding interpretation of all results in order to make appropriate hiring decision.

  • Extends employment offers, makes salary recommendations, and conducts salary negotiations, as needed.

  • Manages data within the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accuracy and consistency; identifies and reports anomalies.

  • Engages newly hired associates to enhance acclimation during first year of employment.

  • Actively seeks to learn and understand business of assigned clients through job shadowing, participation in business meetings, reviewing posted business information and similar activities.

  • Participates on Human Resources and/or company-wide project teams.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing or other related field.

  • 3-4+ years of experience performing Human Resources related work with 2 or more years in a Talent Acquisition function.

  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

  • Effective analytical skills, along with effective oral, written and presentation communication skills to enable accurate completion of assignments and effective interaction with all levels of associates.

  • Knowledge of recruitment and sourcing strategies, interview practices, and candidate selection processes.

  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize workload in a constantly changing environment

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality & hold crucial or sensitive conversations with associate and managers

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence others & able to influence people and direction through effective interpersonal interactions including being able to recognize and understand human behavior including verbal and non-verbal actions and reactions

  • Capable of applying general rules to specific data or problems and provide reasonable assumptions, guidance or suggestions

  • Able to maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of various Federal, State and Local labor laws and other Human Resources related topics

  • Ability to learn and work effectively with Human Resources related technology, including systems, software, and social media. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and Internet technology.
