King's Seafood Company Accounting Coordinator in United States

King's Seafood Company has continued to see our restaurants get busier and busier, with new restaurant openings on the way and increasing guest counts, we are hiring for our Accounting team. To further enhance our capabilities in supporting growing restaurant finances, sales, and revenue, we are hiring a talented and dedicated Accounting Coordinator to become a part of our Home Office Crew.

The Accounting Coordinator is a critical part of the Accounting department that supports accounts payable as well our regional bookkeeping team which serves to further enhance our capabilities in supporting growing restaurant revenues. Teamwork and great communication skills required.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Financial Duties:

  • Record daily sales and reconcile daily cash reports

  • Audit daily sales and guest checks to ensure compliance with company policies

  • Processes invoices

  • Performs accruals and reclassifications

  • Liaise with restaurants regarding financial reporting

  • Audit and process Expense reimbursements accurately

  • Track and process utility billing for all locations

  • Perform check runs and prepare A/P checks for signatures

  • Ensure compliance to company A/P processes

  • Reconcile vendor statements; correspond with vendors when necessary and respond to inquiries.

  • Will support 1-2 restaurant locations with daily bookkeeping responsibilities.

  • Back up front desk receptionist as needed

  • Assist accounting and other team members with Ad Hoc projects

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, related field and/or a degree in Accounting.

  • Good Computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with accounting software

  • Possess good understanding of GL Accounts

  • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines

  • Good organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • In General Approximate % of time spent in each function

  • Bending 10%

  • Carrying 10%

  • Lifting 10%

  • Sitting 70%

Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
