Emerson Shipping Administrator in Singapore

Job Summary

If you are looking for a career opportunity within Shipping Administration function, Emerson has an exciting role for you! The Shipping Administrator will be responsible in coordinating with Order Execution and Operation Teams for the packing arrangement and processing of shipment to ensure timely delivery schedule.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Directly responsible for shipping processing using Oracle, Trax & other system.

  • Co-ordinating packing arrangements with Order Execution Team and Operation Team.

  • To perform pre-shipment ship to address/end user screening in accordance to ITC.

  • Prepare all shipment instructions and documentations (Proforma Invoices, Packing Lists and Delivery notes etc)

  • Ensure all shipments are timely and delivery schedule is met by working closely with internal and external teams (such as forwarders)

  • Ensure accurate documentation (COO, LC, GST) are in-place for each delivery/shipment.

  • Local and overseas Invoice dispatch to customers.

  • Handle & ensure all complete GST documents submission to Finance on weekly basis.

  • Coordinate closely with Forwarder & CSR to close outstanding GST within 30 days timeline and with Finance Team on GST guidelines for rejection whenever there is IRAS changes/ misalignment.

  • Ability to complete other job assigned by supervisor/manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Shipping or Logistics functions with experience in handling shipping documentation.

  • Meticulous and independent.

  • Fast learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • NITEC/Diploma holder or equivalent in Business Administration/Logistic management or related fields.

  • Experience in outbound shipping procedures will be an added advantage.

  • Digital literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel).
