As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
Participating in the design, development, improvement, operation, and automation of observability solutions for Akamai services
Partnering with product owners, development, and test groups to create rapid cycles of feedback and improvement
Testing, profiling, and monitoring code performance
Developing testplans and testcases for new features and improvements
Diagnosing system performance and reliability together with the team of Site Reliability Engineers
Following modern DevOps practices, building new services, or enhancing the existing ones
Creating new automation for existing test plans
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Collaborate and effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical and business challenges
test case automation; we use Python, but familiarity with any test automation framework is welcome
Have experience in designing , developing, and maintaining automation test suites using test frameworks
Have experience in GNU/Linux or Unix environment
Be familiar with Configuration management tools like Ansible
Be using Jenkins and developing Jenkins pipelines
