This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Key Account Manager will focus on medium to long term planning and face to face selling with top export retailers and distributors. In this role, you will help sell a variety of complex company processed chicken products, services and solutions across multiple lines of business for an assigned group of existing clients and participate in building sales plans and diversification strategies to protect and grow the relationship with a defined group of existing customers.

You will collaborate closely with Cargill Protein Europe’s multinational team, and regularly visit our chicken processing factory in Słupca.

Location: Warsaw, but we are open for hybrid or remote work.

Key Accountabilities

  • Help identify and lead interactions with assigned group of export customers to resolve sales opportunities.

  • Participate in resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality service.

  • With minimal mentorship, develop client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts.

  • Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities and market trends.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of five years of related work experience with retail and FMCG products.

  • Advanced level of speaking and writing in English and Polish.

  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (estimated 30% European travel required).
