Job Description

We are looking for a Security Engineer with strong understanding of the IAM principles, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management. This position will be full-time and remote work set-up .

What You’ll Do

  • User accounts administration (User object Provisioning/de-provisioning lifecycle management – Disable and enable accounts based on organizational policies and procedures

  • Groups administration (on-prem and Cloud identities) –

  • Identify owners for the groups, collaborate with businesses to understand the usage/function of the groups, and map groups to specific applications or systems

  • Service Accounts administration:

  • Collaborate with the business team in identifying service accounts, engage with business stakeholders to determine ownership and usage, and associate service accounts with systems or applications

  • Onboarding accounts into Password Vault (PAM (Permission Access Management) – Privileged Account Management)

  • Privileged Account Management / Administration

  • Onboarding accounts into the PAM tool (vaulting and managing accounts)

  • Collaborating with business teams in educating users of the PAM tool

  • Become the “Go-To” expert for IAM user accounts, group administration, and service accounts administration and processes. Be able to advise business partners on integration into the IAM platform

  • Perform routine audits of user access rights to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues promptly

  • Document and maintain accurate records of user access requests, approvals, and changes

  • Provide consultation on internal projects focusing on business needs with identity management, manage IAM change management requests, and work with internal IT teams

  • All other duties as assigned by the Manager

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience with IT or systems engineering

  • Strong understanding of the IAM principles, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management

  • Familiarity with the IAM tools and technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Identity Administration platforms

  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience/Awareness with various IAM tools

  • Knowledge of multi-factor authentication technologies, RBAC, ABAC designs

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience Excellent in Identity & Access Management Domain in user administration (Active Directory and AzureAD/EntraID), IAM, or related field is preferred

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Used data analytics tools such as Splunk or Elastic Search is preferred but not necessary

  • Solid communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn.

  • Required Education - A computer science, IT, or Information Security degree is preferred, but equivalent work experience is acceptable

  • Security industry certifications are a plus

  • Required Years of Experience - The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working within the identity management disciplines and 4-5+ years in the IT industry

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
