Job Description

The Oracle Retail Global Delivery Center (GDC) Consulting Practice is looking to hire Senior Planning and Optimization Business and Application Consultants to perform solution design, business process definition, change impact analysis, Oracle planning and optimisation application configuration, solution testing and knowledge transfer, and to be part of the Retail GDC consulting team in the implementation of Oracle Retail solutions to our broad range of Retail Clients globally. We are looking for ‘can do’ people who inspire change, innovate and deliver in challenging environments. People who think about solutions for tomorrow not just today, and can build positive relationships with our customers to guide them through this journey and articulate what this means for them. In short, we need someone who understands the Retail sector and how both on-premise and Cloud solutions can address current and future challenges in an industry on the brink of a major shift.

  • Assist in resolving how best to use Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization solutions to meet the client’s business needs.

  • Work with business experts to define future business processes and agree the changes required (configuration extension) to successfully adopt the standard Oracle Retail solution.

  • Work with Business and/or Technical Consultants to translate the business needs into end-to-end solution configuration or integration requirements.

  • Ensure the solution being implemented is robust and consistent with the agreed solution design through active participation in formal solution test phases.

  • Transfer knowledge to nominated customer experts to enable successful adoption and support of the new solution.

  • Proactively drive key risks, issues and decisions through to satisfactory resolution.
