Part of the Braking Systems product group within our Airframe Systems division.
Part of Parker's Aerospace Group.
Meggitt's Querétaro facility in Mexico contributes around 80% of the Braking Systems' North American structural component capacity. Some 243,000 sq ft of manufacturing space is dedicated to painting wheels and building cylinder blocks and torque tubes for North American commercial applications. They are exported to our Danville facility in Kentucky, USA, for final assembly and distribution.
The facility is located in the Parque Aeroespacial, 1 km from Querétaro's International Airport and 14km from the major export trade routes.
The Manufacturing Engineer, uses expertise on a variety of complex manufacturing issues to increase the capabilities to produce products. Designs, improves and installs integrated systems in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment. Directly impacts all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation, as well as the sustaining and growth efforts of operations.
• Acts as key contributor, providing advanced expertise on a variety of complex manufacturing issues to increase capabilities to produce new and existing Parker Meggitt products, in order to reach business goals. Actively participates in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment
• Designs, improves, and installs integrated systems, procedures, and processes in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment. Establishes and maintains labor standards to monitor direct/indirect labor and machine performance
• Implements all phases of cost reduction to improve manufacturing profits. Forecasts labor and equipment requirements to ensure adequate equipment, machine, and labor capacity. Provides objective functional and financial engineering guidance on capital expenditures to division management and follows up on implementation process

10 years working in manufacturing CNC position in companies with CNC machines.
5 years working with 5 axes CNC machines.
Expert on develop CNC programs, if use Siemens NX shout be better.
Expert training operators in use CNC machines.
High performance in develop fixture and tools using manufacturing software.
Strong knowledge use carbide tools and special tools
High performance on develops manufacturing process and its updates.
Bilingual
Full hand on and engagement attitude with shop personal.
