Provides direction and leadership to section leads and maintains overall responsibility of OMDAC-SWACA personnel assigned to their site. Responsible for the administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of all equipment and the activities of all personnel assigned to the site. Establishes work schedules, maintains good order and discipline and ensures all personnel are properly trained to perform assigned tasks. Responsible for safe operations at their site and reports to the respective area or country manager. Program: OMDAC-SWACA

This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus and tuition reimbursement program!

You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country in order to be qualified for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains work and vacation schedules to ensure coverage is available per contractual requirements.

  • Reports all outages and corrective actions per locally defined procedures (such as local Signal Company, RNOSC, Area Manager, Operations Cell, etc.)

  • Develops Work Center Operating Procedures and provides guidance as necessary.

  • Develops and provides required reports

  • Provides direct communication and coordination with associated military counterparts, such as OICs and NCOICs, to facilitate mission support

  • Coordinates equipment and resources when required, to ensure technicians can perform their respective duties

  • Responsible to understand and implement the tools and techniques outlined in the Vectrus Supervisor training guide and ensure work center leads do the same.

  • Ensures Government and Mission Assurance, Safety, and training programs are implemented at their site

  • Enforces company policy and provides mentoring and feedback to personnel. Documents substandard behavior and performance. Recommends personnel actions to include re-contracts, promotions, demotions, and terminations.

  • Coordinates site access for all assigned personnel and official visitors to the site.

  • Acts as the primary conduit of information flow between site personnel, customers, and project leadership.

  • Attends and prepares for meetings as required.

  • Working environment will be 80% office environment/indoors, 20% outside.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:

  • Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • Degree in IT or related field preferred

  • ITIL: Foundations (Latest version required)

  • Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory or managerial positions of diverse telecommunication systems.
