Health Solutions Innovation Solution Development and Partnership Leader

What the day will look like

As the Health Solutions Innovation Solution Development and Partnership Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving critical initiatives focused on product development, solution architecture, and partnership creation and expansion. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our offering, build innovative solutions, and cultivate key partnerships to drive growth and deliver exceptional value to clients. This role will report to Aon’s Innovation and Commercialization leader and serve as a senior leader with oversight into process and execution of revenue-driving opportunities across solutions and partnerships.

Product Development and Architecture

  • Lead a team focused on ideation, development, and enhancement of products and services tailored to meet client needs and market demands.

  • Surface new ideas through internal and external sources and use guided ideation sessions to bring an idea through the pipeline of development to ultimate market launch

  • Work closely with the market to understand requirements and technical feasibility to stand-up valuable solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, and analytics to define product requirements, prioritize feature, and drive product roadmaps.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the market.

  • Ensure the testing of solutions throughout the pipeline of development with the market to ensure product-market-fit before completion.

  • Develop a process of appropriate ownership, hand-off, and ultimate scalability of solutions, products, and partnerships.

    Partnership Development

  • Develop a partnership, vendor, and third-party organization strategy for Health Solutions and execute on that vision.

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, service providers, and industry organizations.

  • Identify and evaluate differentiated partnership opportunities to enhance our capabilities, extend our reach, and drive mutual value.

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, establish joint go-to-market strategies, and facilitate collaboration between internal and external partners.

    Strategy and Execution

  • Drive the ultimate development, launch, and success of Aon Health Solutions and solutions, products, and partnerships.

  • Ensure a value proposition of any developed solutions or partnership is created prior to launch to support the scalability

  • Define go-to-market expectations and facilitate collaboration/hand-off to commercial owners.

  • Develop business cases, financial models, and return on investment (ROI) analyses to support decision-making and resource allocation.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress against goals, and continually optimize strategies based on market feedback and business outcomes.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in product management, solution architecture, and partnership development within the professional services, health technology, or insurance industries.

  • Previous experience leading a team focused on bringing out the best of those colleagues from an execution perspective, coupled with their career development

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results through cross-functional collaboration.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $190,000 to $300,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

    Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon’s discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance.
