Account and Renewals Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an Account and Renewals Manager to join our expanding Sales Team. This role will take ownership of our Oracle client portfolio, as we continue to provide best in class Oracle support to an ever-growing customer list. About the role:

Reporting to the CCO , the Account and Renewals Manager plays a pivotal role in driving customer retention by managing the renewal process for Software Support and Maintenance contracts. With a focus on relationship management, revenue optimisation, and process improvement.

The Account and Renewals Manager will ensure accurate forecasting of renewals and will maintain accurate, detailed reports of customer engagement and account plans in the company CRM.

This is a flexible role in terms of location and can be fully remote, based part-time or full-time in our office in Thatcham.

 

What you’ll be doing:

No day is the same at Support Revolution, but you will find yourself getting involved in:

Renewals:

  • Follow the company renewal strategy for Software Support and Maintenance contracts and analyse renewal trends, customer feedback, and market dynamics to refine renewal strategies and improve renewal rates.

  • Own the end-to-end renewal process, including correct contract costing, preparation, negotiation (when applicable), and closure.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Delivery and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of renewal transactions on time and within target.

  • Generate renewal quotes and proposals with customers following the scope of works and contracts.

    Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the customers organisation, in person and via remote communications.

  • Function as the primary point of contact for customers during the renewal process.

  • Build and maintain customer account plans.

  • Collaborate with customers to review and track NPS scores.

  • Function as a point of escalation for customers when needed.

    Onboarding:

  • Work as the main point of contact in the sales to delivery handover of new customers, engaging with new customers at the sales handover to build relationships and ensure a smooth onboarding.

    Cost Optimisation:

  • Identify upsell opportunities throughout the contract term based on company and customer strategy.

    Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Record and track renewal progress through the company’s CRM.

  • Forecast renewal revenue, identify risks and opportunities.

    What we’re looking for:

    To be successful in this position, you should have proven experience in account management within a B2B environment, the drive to succeed, and the willingness to learn.

  • A high-energy, self-starter with strong account management and field sales skills within a B2B environment (preferably with deal sizes of between £250k and many millions)

  • Experience of contract renewals within key, high-value accounts as well as the ability to efficiently upsell.

  • An eye for the competitor landscape and the ability to make Support Revolution even more competitive in the third-party support arena.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Experience with selling enterprise software products or support services into blue-chip companies at C-level.

  • A charismatic and diligent approach to sales presentations and forecasting

  • Flexibility to visit prospects and customers, as well as attend events across the UK and Europe.
