Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Attract and mentor a team of talented mechanical engineers supporting their personal growth
Foster a culture of ownership, common goals, collaboration, and delivering according to schedule
Align team contributions to programs and organization priorities
Work with experts to create technical solutions and roadmaps aligned with customer needs
Collaborate with internal/external partners in early stage technology development
Drive excellence through continuous improvements in ways of working, processes, and tools
Drive project execution in terms of schedule and quality
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's level education in mechanical engineering, medical technology or equivalent.
Several years of experience in the Engineering/Technology related NPI work
Ability to inspire, set clear expectations, coach, and build a positive and inclusive team culture
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, and EU work permit
Desired Characteristics
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead technology teams and projects.
Experience in hiring and developing top talent in highly effective engineering teams
Experience in leading mechanical design work in complex designs within regulated industry (medical, automotive, military)
Experience in project managemental tasks, ability to drive project schedule and execution
