Oracle Senior Web Design Specialist in Czech Republic

Job Description

This person will be primarily responsible for the content publishing, assisting with the maintenance of the corporate websites and will work under the supervision of senior web design specialists/developers.

Other responsibilities include validation using a Cypress testing suite, working with stakeholders for the review and approval cycle, and peer review.

To ensure success as a web design specialist, you need to possess excellent website design skills and meticulous attention to detail. Secondly, this person must be goal-oriented and deadline-driven.

Lastly, this person should be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and in a remote position setup.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the web team with all aspects of website development specifically in content publishing and updates to high-volume corporate websites.

  • Assisting with running the test suite then reviewing and resolving reported errors

  • Collaborating with fellow developers to implement new web features and solutions to fix website issues.

  • Converting video, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web.

Requirements:

  • Any bachelor’s degree is welcome, but a degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field is ideal.

  • At least 3 years' working experience as a junior web developer.

  • Experience working with coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript

  • Experience working with image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma or any similar app.

  • Solid understanding of the latest web technologies particularly Bootstrap, responsive web design, Search Engine Optimization, and accessibility.

  • Experience working in an agile environment (sprints and scrum) is a plus.

  • Commitment to finish the tasks as scheduled with high quality.

  • Good communication skills

  • Can work during the weekends or in the evening or early morning if needed.

  • Experience in the successful handling of repetitive and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support and administration of the software infrastructure for the implementation and maintenance of company's digital efforts. Designs and maintains web pages/digital interfaces/applications. Develops user interface features, site animation and special effects. Coordinates with web content developers to ensure the delivery of the content and message is accurate. Provides technical site maintenance, consultation on issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics and other technical developments. Develops code using HTML, Visual Basic or other web-based/digital application programming languages. Prepares technical documentation
