Insight Global Registered Federal Architect in Virginia Beach, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Federal Registered Architect who possesses eight years of experience or more. This individual will be responsible for acting as a team lead with responsibilities including planning, prioritizing, and driving projects forward. Design is centered around anything fo the Federal Government and Department of Defense (DoD), such as SCIF's, barracks, hangars, training facilities, dining halls, and more. The projects at hand are moderate to large in scale. Work is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, if desired. The group this person will be joining consists of 25+ individuals broken into a few group of around 8 people. Skills and Requirements
Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Licensed / Registered Architect
8 years of experience in Architecture with 4+ exposed to Federal work.
Strong familiarity with Revit or substantial strength in planning skills
Ability to travel (10% or less) * Experience designing SCIF's (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility)
Strong familiarity with UFC's (Unified Facility Criteria)
Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, or other similar software
Keen eye for aesthetic design and development in federal space null
