Aston Carter Materials Planner in Versailles, Kentucky

Description:

The production planner, also known as a production scheduler professional will manage the production process to ensure it's timely and efficient. They will be responsible for coordinating and integrating the production process, including materials, schedules, and workforce, to meet customer delivery dates and internal financial goals

Responsibilities:

Handle reporting

Place raw material orders to support production

Adhere to company policy and procedures

Evaluate and review customer inquiries

Assist with daily and weekly production schedules

Analyze changes in demand

Review inventory on weekly basis

Communicate with different groups within the company

Support production schedule

Assist with equipment upgrade

Create production schedule and manufacturing plans while maintaining inventory level objectives

Other tasks as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

2+ years of production planner/materials/logistics experience

Strong communication skills with customer, vendors and internal departments

Computer and leadership skills

Able to be on call to assist with customer questions
