Production Area Leader will manage resources (equipment and personnel) and activities required for the manufacturing operations to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives. Maintains authority over budget and scheduling. Ownership of EHS, quality, manufacturing engineering, production control and operations.

What you’ll do
Responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the production area
Ensure that all manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, safely, in good quality and in time according to the vision and strategy of the COE
Responsible for creating and maintaining a productive work environment, supporting personal performance and team improvements
Detail / coordinate capacity & capability needs associated with the volume
Meet goals and objectives of all cell related KPIs, track results and make operational decisions if action is needed
Initiate and lead projects to improve deliverables
Drive the productivity improvements in the line with the support of engineering department
Promotion of innovation and improvements to increase safety, quality, production efficiency and to reduce cycles. Implement Lean initiative and establish the culture of 5S and Kaizen through Employee suggestions
Control of inventory level and continuous improvement of turnover
Responsible for the cost controlling of the line
Training, briefing and monitoring of compliance with all EHS policies and continuous improvement of these standards
Work together with other business teams to ensure competitiveness, by understanding processes and implementing best practices
Maintain a safe environment by active participation on mandatory EHS trainings, follow EHS rules and warn others to do so.
What you’ll bring
BSc or MSc degree in Engineering (Management or Business Administration desired)
Fluent English and Hungarian in written and spoken
Significant experience in manufacturing as process leader or similar roles
Strong understanding of machining and fabrication activities, ideally in high tech materials.
Ability to lead a results-oriented team with the objective to continually improve economical and qualitative standards and processes in a dynamically changing environment
Able to lead employee and team performance improvements
Able to deliver message through presentations in front versatile audiences, excellent communication skills.
