Eaton Corporation Senior Technical Pre-Sales Engineer in Vantaa, Finland
Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. Campus is completed by the end of 2023, and the 16,500 m² site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs.
As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton’s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

What you’ll do:
As a Senior Technical Pre-Sales Engineer , you will act as a technical specialist for large UPS system and Special System customers in EMEA region. Your key responsibilities will be:
Act as a technical expert and a host for customer visits, witness tests and demonstrations
Support internal sales organizations with technical and commercial UPS requests by
analyzing customer requirements
making quotations and supporting material
designing UPS solutions together with several stake holders (R&D, Product Marketing, Production, Sales, Suppliers etc.).
Qualifications:
Min. B.Sc degree in Electrical engineering
Preferably min. 5 years of experience in Electrical and/or Electronic industry
Skills:
Technical knowledge on power electronics and/or three phase electrical systems and solutions
Experience on UPS/frequency converter technologies and assemblies is an advantage
Fluency in English
Strong work ethic, communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude, Problem-Solving Skills, Teamwork, Resilience
