Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Facilities Manager (TE4) in Vancouver, WA. This position initiates, prioritizes, and manages the building maintenance needs for Southwest Region buildings, rest areas, and radio sites. The Facilities Manager is responsible for 152 buildings, (approximately 394,577 Sq. Ft.) on 42 different sites throughout the region. By providing routine and emergent maintenance on SWR facilities, the incumbent ensures reliable facilities for WSDOT employees, business needs, customers, and the traveling public. In addition, the Facilities Manager secures funding for minor capital work and manages maintenance and operations program funds of approximately $4,000,000. This position supports the agency's goals of Workforce Development, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, (DEI), and Resilience.
