Hybrid Mechanical Drafter
Job Description
The Mechanical Drafter handles low to moderate complexity tasks, prepares necessary drawings and data, and interacts with other departments to resolve customer order and manufacturing issues under the supervision of the Drafting Manager/Supervisor. Limited customer contact may be required.
Responsibilities
Prepare necessary drawings and data for projects
Handle low to moderate complexity tasks
Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer order and manufacturing issues
Document drafting details and maintain accurate records
Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM)
Essential Skills
Mechanical drafting
AutoCAD proficiency
Documentation skills
Bill of Material creation
Attention to detail
Mechanical design knowledge
Mechanical engineering understanding
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor
SolidWorks experience
Sheet metal expertise
Engineering drafting/design skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates degree in drafting/design
Education experience is a minimum for consideration
Self-motivated and high character
Ability to work independently
Work Environment
This position is hybrid after the initial training period. Employees enjoy 9 holidays, including 1 floating holiday, and 3 weeks of PTO. Additionally, there are 32 hours of personal time available. Benefits start on the 1st of the next month. The 401(k) plan includes employer contributions ranging from 1% to 4.5%, depending on employee contribution levels.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $56160.00/yr.
9 holidays – 1 is floating and then 3 weeks of PTO (2.31 hours per week is the accrual) 32 hours of personal time as well. Benefits start 1st of the next month.
