Your role and responsibilities
As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team - advising and
supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award
winning cloud solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: Forecasting and Deal Closures: Predicting deal closures and effectively
communicating forecasts. Opportunity Identification: Assisting your team in identifying up/cross-sell opportunities within your territory. Collaborative
Campaigns: Collaborating with IBM Marketing and Sales to develop new business campaigns. Use-Case Development: Creating use-cases and
proofs of concept in response to client RFIs. Value Proposition Presentation: Compellingly presenting high-level value propositions.
Required technical and professional expertise
Language:
English: Full professional proficiency
Italian: Native proficiency
Previous experience in Sales (1-3 years), as Business Developer and/or Territory Account Manager would be beneficial.
Understanding of the IT industry
Preferred technical and professional experience
Have a passion for contacting customers by phone
Independent worker and thinker
Resilence and persistance is key to this role to keep contacting your customer base
Good sales accumen
Engineering and Economics education advantageous
