About the role:
Gold Care Homes is a well –established national independent residential care homes group for the elderly employing circa 1500 employees across 33 care homes. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Company Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting company executives, employees, and goods in a safe and timely manner. The Company Driver will also play a key role in maintaining the vehicle in good condition and adhering to all traffic and company regulations.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Safely transport company personnel, goods, or equipment to designated locations.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transit.
Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure proper functionality.
Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
Communicate effectively with company personnel and office staff.
Complete required paperwork, including trip logs and expense reports.
Ensure timely arrivals and departures for company activities.
Present a professional and courteous demeanour at all times.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a driver is preferred.
Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns.
Ability to lift and carry moderate loads.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Regular driving responsibilities.
Occasional weekend or evening availability may be required.
