Regional Sales & Operations Planning Lead North America ANH

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) senior manager to join our team. As Regional Sales & Operations Planning Lead North America ANH, you will lead a team of Regional Supply Planners and Demand Planners to oversee the efficient and effective execution and continuous improvement of the S&OP process for Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) in North America.
You will provide guidance and support to the regional Supply and Demand Planning community, managing and further improving the business reporting for ANH, with a specific focus on end-to-end product management and commercial product performance. This function brings together demand planning and supply planning to facilitate optimal alignment and matching of demand and supply across multiple time scales.

Key responsibilities
Own regional S&OP processes, including inventory management, inventory distribution between sites, demand reviews, IBP process, and OTIF for the Region, ensuring robust processes and harmonization across ANH product families; co-owns target setting (inventory, cost, service) for Region and Sites with respective leaders
Partner with regional Marketing & Sales to consolidate and challenge demand for products / solutions at different stage of Product Life Cycle to deliver supply plans, and execute allocation strategies following global guidelines and decisions from regional commercial stakeholders
Steer decision-making related to balancing demand and supply, ensuring integrated business planning within the Regional Leadership Team and portfolio management in the region such as phase-in/phase-outs, Product Codes Transition and coordination with Nutritional Services, production sites and Commercial
Partner with Procurement to ensure supply fulfilment and forecast adoption for 3rd party materials and locally sourced materials
Build a strong S&OP team of Demand and Supply Planners for the region, support capability building of demand and supply planning,
Roll out Supply Chain standard business processes and best practices, drive Supply Chain excellence and improvement projects
This position is a US Home-based role. The position can be located in the eastern or central time zones of the United States. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided. Salary $143,000-$178,700

You bring
Minimum 7 years of experience working in and across multi-disciplinary, diverse teams in large organizations required and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (in supply chain management, Procurement, Sales & Operations Planning and/or demand planning) required
Good understanding of the animal industry in terms of customer business, market and industry trends
Experience in ERP, dashboarding and/or data mining tools such as SAP, Business Warehouse, EveryAngle, Excel or PowerBI.
High level of conceptual and analytical skills. Ability to critically and structurally analyse problems and identify and shape effective solutions
Assertive, strong decision maker with demonstrated leadership and people management skills with bbility to manage wide range of stakeholders in the Regions and in Global team
Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus. Certification in APICS or other supply chain related certification a plus
