Description:
Job Responsibilities: - Overseeing and improving glass production processes - Develop and implement process designs for the manufacturing of glass products - Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality - Identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials - Lead and participate in projects aimed at process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions - On the floor 70% of the time and in office environment 30% of the time

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering strongly preferred - with minimum of 3 years of job experience as Process Engineer - If no degree - minimum of 5 years of job experience as Process Engineer - Continuous improvement experience - person needs to be continuous improvement minded individual - Autocad 2D/3D experience - understanding of engineering drawings/blueprints - Experience with Fanuc Robots, Fanuc CNC, or Allen Bradley PLCs is a huge plus - Strong communication skills - ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders - Experience needs to be very hands on and not managerial type of experience overseeing the work
