The Office of the Bursar is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals with excellent customer service skills to fill full-time positions as a Student Account Associate. The successful candidate will: Provide counseling and guidance to students, families, and staff on University policies and procedures related to the student account. Provide a high level of in-depth analysis concerning student accounts. Resolve issues with student accounts. Guide students and families through the billing, financial aid disbursement, and refunding processes by responding to direct requests via telephone, e-mail, virtual, and in-person visits to the Office of the Bursar. Responsible for accepting and posting payments, issuing receipts, and reconciling respective transactions.
Minimally requires an Associate's degree plus four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and experience include: High level of attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and grammatical skills. Excellent customer service skills. Advising and counseling skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with student and business systems/software is preferred.
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
Due to the financial and fiduciary responsibilities of this position, successful completion of a credit history check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $42,100.00 - $61,000.00
