Skateland Assistant Manager in Union Gap, Washington
::: {dir="ltr"} Skateland is hiring an Assistant Manager! We have a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager is the person responsible for our staff operations and assisting the Rink Owners/Management in making sure our sessions operate as smoothly as possible. This position (you must be available weekends and holidays) requires a dynamic individual who is able to see what areas need assistance during sessions. They will need to be able to step in and operate or guide others to be able to operate areas of the rink effectively. The Assistant Manager needs to possess leadership skills and confidence to work with customers and enforce policies. For this reason, we are looking for a self-starter, who is willing to learn at a quick pace. :::
::: {dir="ltr"} The job will be approximately 25 hours per week during the training period, working into 35-40 hours per week. They will be in charge of shopping for Skateland's Skate Cafe', training new staff on cafe set up & tear down, and proper cleaning, Gift shop orders/stocking. Learn how to manage sessions, count back & reconcile tills, learn & train staff on a new point of sale system this summer, run the DJ booth, pass out skates, and run the ticket booth. They would direct Skateland's skate maintenance, other light maintenance, and other jobs as needed.
