Mechanical Assembler
Monday-Friday 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm no Over Time
Pay Rate: $21-$24
Job Duties:
Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on a wide range of mechanical components and systems, such as engines, landing gear, hydraulics, and propulsion systems.
Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of mechanical equipment to identify defects, malfunctions, or wear and tear. Ensure compliance with industry standards and military regulations.
Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and integrate mechanical components into aerospace systems, following blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.
Calibration: Calibrate and adjust mechanical systems to meet precise specifications and operational requirements.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and military procedures.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, especially in the defense industry, to guarantee the highest level of safety for military personnel and equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions, often under high-pressure situations.
Tool and Equipment Management: Manage, maintain, and ensure the proper use of specialized tools and equipment required for mechanical work.
Training and Support: Collaborate with engineers and provide technical support, training, and guidance to junior technicians and staff.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mechanical work meets stringent quality and performance standards, including testing for reliability in adverse conditions.
