Qualifications
5 years of experience as a Barista or Coffee Shop Manager
Course Overview:
Format: Online, self-paced with quizzes, plus hands-on training at Shelton State
Community College
Topics:
Espresso preparation, milk texturing, latte art, brewing techniques, grinder calibration, coffee cupping, drink recipe creation, customer service, health and safety, inventory management, and workplace professionalism
Instructor Responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on lab training at Shelton State Community College or designated facility.
Request training resources.
Complete and sign Student Skills Checklist.
