Village of Tully WasteWater Treatment Plant Operator in Tully, New York
The Village of Tully DPW is seeking to fill a position of Full Time WasteWater Treatment Plant Operator/Laborer. Typical work hours 7 am to 3:30 pm weekdays with on-call and weekend rotation. Applicants must have a 3A Wastewater Treatment Certification or the ability to do on-the-job training for that position. Ideally, the applicant should also have NYS Water Treatment Certification IIB-GW and D as well as a valid NYS CDL B drivers license. Applicants should have the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate both orally and in writing, and be physically capable of fulfilling the duties of this position, which include water and wastewater operations and maintenance, equipment and vehicle maintenance, snow removal, and building and grounds maintenance. Salary range is $50,000 to $75,000, depending on experience, and includes benefits and NYS Retirement.
