CANVAS Hypersonic Engineer / Technical Translator in Tullahoma, Tennessee

Hypersonic Engineer/Technical Translator

: Arnold AFB, TN- Tullahoma , TN (On-site)

Canvas is seeking a Hypersonic Engineer/ Technical Translator provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. Duties:

  • Technical translator to support multiple Japanese test entries across the United States Air Force Test Center (AFTC)
  • Test planning, execution, and data analysis for hypersonic systems and related subsystems.
  • Develop and implement test methodologies to assess hypersonic performance and system integration in hypersonic environments.
  • Coordinate with program offices, contractors, and stakeholders to define test requirements and objectives.
  • Conduct thermal and fluid-structure interaction analyses and apply advanced computational tools.
  • Perform in-depth post-test data analysis, compiling technical reports and presenting findings to leadership and customers.
  • Stay current with state-of-the-art hypersonic testing techniques and apply them to support mission success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
  • Japanese proficiency Level N2 or better
  • Candidates must possess strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and /or similar simulation tools.
  • Undergraduate experience in hypersonic systems development and testing (desired)

Security Clearance:

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
