Aerotek A&P Mechanic in Tucson, Arizona
Job Description
Candidate will perform routine inspections, repairs, and modifications on corporate jet aircraft. Complete inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification and inspection packages, and troubleshoot aircraft systems. Must ensure that all tasks assigned are completed and documented in accordance with manufacturer's manuals or other FAA-approved data. This role requires knowledge of the use and research of numerous airframe manuals.
Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, repairs, and modifications on customer aircraft
Complete inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification, and inspection packages
Troubleshoot aircraft systems
Ensure all tasks assigned are completed and documented in accordance with manufacturer's manuals or other FAA-approved data
Advise supervisor/lead of job status at all times
Maintain good housekeeping habits
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
Perform system functional tests as required by maintenance programs and logically diagnose malfunctions
Understand and interpret prints
Promote safety
Perform assigned work to establish standards and estimates routinely
Perform only authorized work
Perform repairs and modifications as required
Other duties may be assigned by supervisor/lead from time to time
Essential Skills
A&P license required
2 years of aircraft maintenance experience
Experience on corporate aircraft preferred
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
