Rise Baking Company Maintenance Coordinator in Tucker, Georgia
Job Purpose
No Oversee the strategic preventive/predictive maintenance planning and repair programs including equipment identification/data collection, preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment, equipment history on both preventive and predictive maintenance repairs, work order and purchase order system with approval levels, inventory control system for stock room and tool crib, and statistical/financial analysis.
Essential Functions
Manage maintenance activities for the safety, integrity, legality, and quality of our food products
Maintain the maintenance planning database by inputting equipment history, parts, tools and supply inventories, and crew information
Develop preventive/predictive maintenance schedules by identifying and evaluating least-cost alternative schedules based on availability and location of parts, tools, supplies, crew skills, and machine downtime
Develop corrective maintenance schedules by entering work requests; identify best sequence/least-cost approach; and estimate time, parts, tools, and supplies
Improve maintenance operations by reviewing production records and analyzing prevention, repair costs, and time; identify problems and trends, recommending new approaches
Provide management with summarized maintenance data and trends
Provide direction, guidance, and support to maintenance technicians and production departments
Actively participate in all plant safety and TPM pillar initiatives; promote safety and housekeeping initiatives by engaging employees in the TPM process
Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training; maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition immediately to supervisory personnel
Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field and/or equivalent work experience
3+ years of maintenance experience
Maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and practices, planning methods, and tools including planning and scheduling software
Knowledge of methods, practices, tools, equipment, materials, and safety procedures used in the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and instrument equipment used in manufacturing and distribution facilities
Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel
Superior planning, organization, and analytical skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
Ability to create programs and procedures from scratch with limited direction
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Strong communication skills including the ability to listen, explain, and facilitate; ask for input; accept suggestions; and work with others to solve problems
