Lockheed Martin Mechanic A&P Sr in Trumbull, Connecticut

Description: The Work

Successful candidate must be able to:

-Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.

-Must be able to overhaul and repair Hydraulic components including Landing gear components used on Sikorsky S/H-92 aircraft.

-Work independently with limited supervision.

-Adhere to EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.

-Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.

-Ability to communicate and work well with others

-Perform duties as assigned by Shop Lead Person

-Have to ability to learn and comprehend new products as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have Aviation experience

Must understand FAA rules and regulations.

Must be competent with the use of torque wrenches, tooling and fixturing equipment.

This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.

Desired Skills:

FAA A&P license (but not required)

Knowledge in overhaul of Aircraft Hydraulic Components

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
