The Troy Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Chief and to establish a hiring list. The hiring list will be valid for one (1) year. There is currently a position open at this time. The hiring process will proceed in the following steps:Acceptance of ApplicationsTestingOral Interview(s)Background Investigation (to include fingerprinting)Establishment of Hiring ListApplicants must meet the following minimum requirements:Must be a citizen of the Unites State;Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;Not have been convicted of a felony;Be of good moral character, as determined by a background investigation;Be a high school graduate or equivalent;Possess or be eligible for a valid Montana driver’s license.Applications that meet the minimum qualification requirements will be notified of the date and location of the testing.
