Teoresi, Inc Software Validation and Systems Integration Engineer in Troy, Michigan
Software Validation and Systems Integration Engineer. (Troy, MI or various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.). Design of electronic systems, and software testing and validation. Evaluate project work to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy, or compatibility in the resolution of complex electronics engineering problems. Develop Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEAs) or review supplier DFMEAs and assess designs for failure modes robustness. Define DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report) to validate design and changes and deliver DVRR (Design Validation and Reliability Report) and complete applicable compliance reports. Research or develop electronic technologies for use in electric-drive vehicles. Analyze electronics system requirements, capacity, or customer needs to determine project feasibility. Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, transmission system or distributed system architectures. Managing integration of electronic systems. Performing activity on electronic related product development, from requirement definition to final testing. Troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems. Diagnosis, root cause analysis, and failure mode tracking for project development on automotive and industrial vehicles. Conduct assessment of factory Quality Assurance (QA) processes and report back on discrepancies or gaps relative to production and prototype lines. Testing and validation on complex system architectures and Electronic Control Units (ECU). Design of test cases and test patterns with the most used and cutting-edge tools in the industry. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, or closely related field + 1 year of experience as Software Validation Engineer or any related position in automotive program engineering. Must have one year of experience in electronic control units, including body control module (BCM), engine control module (ECM), instrument panel cluster (IPC), CANalyzer, CANoe, Hardware in Loop (HIL).
