We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee and enhance the digital presence of Ford From the Road (external owned channel) and @ Ford (internal communications channel). This role is responsible for creating and executing a best-in-class UX strategy that ensures Ford’s storytelling is engaging, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s vision.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for the company’s primary internal and external communications channels, ensuring seamless and effective information flow across teams and to the relevant stakeholders. You will oversee the management and optimization of From the Road and @Ford.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Communications, IT, HR, marketing, and brand, you will gather requirements, prioritize feature development, and drive enhancements that improve user engagement and operational efficiency. You will analyze performance metrics, implement best practices, and stay ahead of industry trends to continuously refine communication strategies. Additionally, you will align these initiatives with business goals, ensuring transparency, consistency, and impact.
What you'll do…
Lead UX strategy and execution for Ford Communications’ owned channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for users.
Develop, manage, and optimize content distribution and ensure that digital experiences across owned channels are compelling, innovative, and aligned with Ford’s brand.
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative teams, content producers, IT developers, and key stakeholders to deliver an optimal user experience.
Implement user research and analytics from the Communications strategy and insights team to measure effectiveness and inform continuous improvements.
Ensure consistency in UX design across internal and external channels, maintaining Ford’s brand voice and visual identity.
Manage and optimize workflows for content production and channels updates.
Apply the learnings from the UX journey for From the Road to @Ford and create one cohesive ecosystem.
Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in UX, digital storytelling, software, and multimedia content distribution.
You'll have…
10+ years of experience in digital experience design, multimedia content production, or communications strategy.
Proven ability to produce and manage multimedia content for global communications initiatives.
Strong background in UX/UI design principles, content strategy, and digital storytelling.
Experience leading and collaborating with creative teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
Deep understanding of employee and corporate communications best practices.
Familiarity with video production, live event production, and interactive media. Quick turn video post-production may be required, so familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is important. Coordination and content creation for live event productions a plus.
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
Knowledge of content management systems (including Adobe Experience Manager and frame.io), analytics tools, and emerging digital technologies.
Experience working in large corporations or global brands is a plus.

This position is a salary grade 8.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8
