About the Opportunity

At Intuit, we believe that student hires are the next generation of tech entrepreneurs. Our internship program is focused on identifying high-potential university students and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in the tech industry. We support students by fully integrating them into our teams and providing direct support from fellow technologists, encouraging participation in team-run learning sessions, sharing timely feedback, and giving the opportunity to share their work with the broader team.

About the team

We're a small but mighty team of designers (visual, interaction and content), who work to deliver amazing customer experiences for our TurboTax and QuickBooks users. We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about user experience, learning and creative problem solving.

Requirements for the role

To be eligible for the role you must align with the following:

  • Currently enrolled in post secondary education

  • A graduation date of no earlier than 4 months after the internship/co-op concludes

  • Not require sponsorship to work within the role now or in the future

  • Come in 2x per week to our Toronto office (all of our co-op roles are hybrid)

What you'll bring

Qualifications

  • You're customer-obsessed and are passionate about creating products that resonate on an emotional level and drive business results.

  • Strong fundamental knowledge of UX Design practices and tools such as design thinking, decision mapping, prototyping & wireframing, Figma, AdobeXD, conducting deep user research.

  • You're ready to work on many projects at once, collaborating with a variety of Design & Product experts!

  • Make an impact in the lives of our customers through customer research, data and iterative prototyping to deliver amazing designs. Based on your skills and interests, you may have the opportunity to work on visual, interaction, or content design focused work.
