Job Description:

About This Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager for Transaction banking, we are looking for a Bus Sys Analysis Specialist to plan, manage and lead the delivery of detailed systems requirements and Technical & Functional Specifications that align to standards and Frameworks.

You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, communicate, document and manage detailed functional specifications.

Our team is made up of dynamic and strong technical leads, developers, QA's, and BSA's who build and maintain critical technology platforms in an Agile environment. You'll be exposed to stretch assignments as you take on large-scale, complex and/or enterprise-wide projects.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical / functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworks.

  • Work in close partnership with business partners / technology / project teams and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

  • Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system capabilities and defining technology solutions options / recommendations working closely with key technology partners.

  • Ability to write and execute test plans in DEV and PAT and carry out all necessary tasks required to implement any system change.

  • Ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation materials to support the decision making of executives

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team

Manage Incremental Change

  • Onboarding new products

  • Managing official curve changes

  • Provide thought leadership and project oversight for data governance and quality roadmap and implementation activities

  • Scope, size, and manage data quality implementation efforts

L3 Support

  • Independently investigate and resolve client support issues.

  • Resolve any complex issues that cannot be resolved by first-line support

  • Supporting various legacy system retirements

  • Communicate effectively both inside and outside the team to achieve results and build strong relationships.

Job Requirements :

Must Have

  • 5-8 years of Business Analysis experience that includes requirements elicitation, requirements management, solution assessment and validation

  • 5 years of practical experience with Agile development methodologies/frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, including story estimation and leading sprint planning/grooming with the developers and QA

  • Able to understand the Java rest services/ microservices/frontend architecture, messaging services, technical integrations with downstream and dependent systems.

  • Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Visio, etc.

  • Able to write (minimum level to analyze data) / understand PL SQL queries to model the current state

  • Able to understand web-services using modern practices/techniques including Domain-Driven Design, Event Storming, Event Sourcing and CQRS

  • Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communication skills

  • Sound to advanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.

  • Ability to perform work on all aspects of the system analyst process from end-to-end (on projects of moderate to high complexity), independently.

Nice To Have

  • Previous development experience with Java rest APIs using Spring bootCloud platforms experience (ideally Azure) and related technologies (e.g., Spring Cloud)

Qualifications Required

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering
