SR Instruments Inc CNC Machine Operator in Tonawanda, New York
Tonawanda. SR Instruments. CNC Machine Operator. $20 - $25/hour
Responsibilities: * Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to techniques and methods of operation on CNC machines * Perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, sawing, turning * Perform inspection of parts being made * Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures * Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner * Work overtime as required to meet production needs * Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: * Experience (1 to 2) years in manufacturing industry preferred, but willing to train the right candidate * Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications * Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations * Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions * Ability to work independently with little supervision * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks requiring immediate attention
