Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing profitable growth utilizing innovative sales management techniques. Manages and leads sales activities for a territory by performing the following duties.

  • Establishes and maintains sales budget targets for branch

  • Possesses knowledge of market conditions, key customers and competitive conditions

  • Is alert to market opportunities which complement current product and services

  • Assists in developing new markets and confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area

  • Coordinates sales activities in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Develops plans for efficient use of resources and a profitable business that provides a return consistent with objectives

  • Sales managers are measured on Gross Profit Dollars, forecast vs. actual

  • Quality performance is a commitment to excellence by each TW Metals employee

  • It is achieved by teamwork and a process of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in business administration or related area

  • Five years related industry sales experience

Requirements:

  • Well-developed sales management skills, as well as an understanding of branch objectives

  • Possess effective communication skills which include verbal and written

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office

  • Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware)

  • Ability to comprehend concepts of moderate to high difficulty, and ability to communicate responses and actions related to these concepts

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions

  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
