Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing profitable growth utilizing innovative sales management techniques. Manages and leads sales activities for a territory by performing the following duties.
Establishes and maintains sales budget targets for branch
Possesses knowledge of market conditions, key customers and competitive conditions
Is alert to market opportunities which complement current product and services
Assists in developing new markets and confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area
Coordinates sales activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
Develops plans for efficient use of resources and a profitable business that provides a return consistent with objectives
Sales managers are measured on Gross Profit Dollars, forecast vs. actual
Quality performance is a commitment to excellence by each TW Metals employee
It is achieved by teamwork and a process of continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree, preferably in business administration or related area
Five years related industry sales experience
Requirements:
Well-developed sales management skills, as well as an understanding of branch objectives
Possess effective communication skills which include verbal and written
Must have experience with Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware)
Ability to comprehend concepts of moderate to high difficulty, and ability to communicate responses and actions related to these concepts
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
