Morgan Stanley Senior Financial Engineer, VP/ED, IED in Tokyo, Japan
Who are we? The Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in the origination, distribution and trading of equity, equity derivatives and hybrid products. We are looking for a Senior Financial Engineer based in Tokyo.
What does the Financial Engineering Team do?
The Financial Engineering team is in charge of creating and maintaining financial products in close collaboration with sales and traders. The product scope includes derivatives, Morgan Stanley QIS custom indices, and structures wrapping such proprietary indices.
What profile are we looking for?
At least 5-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in structuring re-insurance products (e.g. VA, FIA)
Extended knowledge of derivative-embedded structures, QIS business.
Business level English is pre-requisite, and business level in Japanese would be a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork skills
Project management skills
Motivated self-starter with excellent work ethic
