The Senior Manager, MS/Services Architecture owns the delivery of technology advisory and implementation solutions that extract and maximise business value from MS investments at client sites and /or reduce the cost of doing business. This will include architecture, engineering, and operations services for the MS strategy, innovation, operations, and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to business success.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work across multiple architect community of practice to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Architect community in the country and/or region.

  • Facilitiates regular training activities on relevant topics and subject matter to build MS capability.

  • Manages the design client’s MS solution based on our portfolio offers.

  • Ensure the creation of standards and tools for new solution architecture and deliver continuous delivery frameworks that will promote and establish a reliable MS business within NTT (Ltd).

  • Interface between sub-region/ country Architect Lead and other Service Leads (e.g., Head of Consulting, Head of Support Services, etc.) to develop an integrated solution strategy.

  • Manages the sub-region/ country Architects in the relevant MS team – Enterprise Architect, Service Architect, and Platform Architect.

  • Provide advice for the MS strategy, innovation, operations, architecture and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to business success and client satisfaction.

  • Manage TCV GP of MS bookings.

  • Execute MBO-type review of degree of knowledge-sharing and collaboration across regional Architect community.

  • Ensures the utilisation of market intelligence and insights they have gathered to influence MS product requirements.

  • Drives people and resource management accountabilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Have a excellent level of knowledge across Enterprise Architecture, Managed Services, Service Management consulting, and multiple solutions areas (Business Units), and across domains, delivery units, and geographies.

  • Line manager experience and the ability to think strategically.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders at different levels

  • Good knowledge of budgetting and financial planning.

  • Business negotiation skills, influence, conflict resolution, and political savvy.

  • A strong vendor relationship is required to ensure an understanding of the vendor’s products business and services positioning.

  • Display excellent presentation skills, are innovative and have a formidable client orientation aptitude

  • Resourceful and confidently handles pressure in critical situations, ensuring at all times that client requirements are met.

  • Have knowledge in services industry, service delivery models, process improvements, consumption models and multiple MS Portfolio offers and GTM solution areas.

  • Expert in core Managed Service Portfolio offer artefacts, techniques, demos, tools and deliverables.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and / or Information Technology or related field.

  • Certification and working knowledge of ITIL, Service Management and Integration

  • Scaled Agile certification.

Required Experience:

  • Extended demonstrated experience with and understanding of the deliverables and value proposition of Managed Services within a product marketing context.

  • Extended demonstrated experience in coordinating the design and implementation of new delivery models in a significant globally federated delivery organisation.

  • Advanced understanding of the vast range of IT Service Management and operations.

  • Extended proven client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management.

  • Extended demonstrated experience in relevant services and products and understanding of industry best practices.

  • Advanced proven sales and client engagement experience.

  • Advanced vendor relationship management to ensure an understanding of the vendor’s products business and services positioning.

  • Extended experience with SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodology (scale agile framework enterprise).

  • Deep technical background, with an extended demonstrated business development and pre-sales experience.

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process, applications and infrastructure architecture.

  • Extended demonstrated experience as a people and resource manager.
