54 Landscape and Irrigation Laborers needed for permanent, full-time employment.
Job Duties: Landscape and maintain grounds of commercial and residential properties with year-round contracts using hand and power tools and equipment, including lawnmower (walk behind and rider), edger, trimmer, backpack blower, wheelbarrow, shovel, rake, broom, ladder, hedge pruner, saw, and chain saw. Install and repair sprinkler systems and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Lay sod, plant flowers, shrubs and trees, mow, trim shrubs, spread dirt, rake, blow, prune, mulch, fertilize, pull weeds, and aerate. Load and unload materials and tools and keep them clean. Operate vehicles as needed. During the Winter months, install winter sod and landscape, perform specific and specialized winter rejuvenation pruning for shrubs and plants and plant winter shrubs and plants. Seed/overseed lawns. Install and repair sprinkler systems and adjust system activation for winter months. Install and repair drainage systems and maintain gutters. Winter lawn cleanups. Remove snow from properties using a truck with a plow attached to the front and shovels. Spread salt on walkways and driveways. Work will be performed with relatively minimal daily oversight.
The employer will provide on-the-job training. The employer will provide all tools, supplies, equipment and uniform required to perform the job at no charge.
Requirements: Workers will perform work in the following counties, which are all located within normal commuting distance, including Larimer, Weld, Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Clear Creek, Douglas, Jefferson, Park, and Boulder Counties. Incidental transportation to and from the job sites is provided from the main office daily.
Wages/Terms: $21.69/hr., and $32.54/hr. for OT. 40 hours per week.
