Emerson Inspector in Tianjin, China

Located in Tianjin, in this critical role you will be responsible for planning, performing, and documenting inspection activities for Emerson's Nuclear Valves product lines. You will perform in-process and final inspections to ensure the products meet company and customer specifications and standards.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Perform incoming inspection in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner, in accordance with the related codes, standards and specifications. The inspection process includes visual inspection, PMI, Dimensional, Chemical & Mechanical test, Documents review etc.
Be involved in the development of parts inspection procedures & plans. Conduct the physical inspections and document review and generate reports/records as required by the plan and procedures.
Work closely with QA Engineers on inspection methods determination and results communications.
Maintaining 6S standards at assigned work area.
Other tasks allocated by QA Engineer or Quality manager.
Who You Are:
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be familiar with document management processes,
Familiar with quality management principles and practices.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Graduated from a college or above.
3+ years of experience in a quality control inspector role or equivalent.
Be able to read and understand Engineering Drawings and relevant code and procedures in English.
Be skilled on oral communications and written expressions.
Be experienced on operating measuring instruments and gauges such as PMI, spectrum, CMM, 3D projector, hardness tester etc.
Have knowledge of mechanical inspection and manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of nuclear power industry standards
